DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES
The department of Management Studies offers a 2-year years Masters programme in Business Administration.
The Department is initiated with the objective of providing world class exposure and knowledge to the student through excellent by providing great infrastructure and advanced technology that helps to gather updated information on their finger tips. The Department has qualified and experienced faculty members specialied in various streams of management to import quality education.
The programme offers dual specialization in the following areas – Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing and Systems Management.

OBJECTIVES
- To enhance the inter-personal skills of the students and enable them acquire practical knowledge by attending managerial exercises like industrial interaction programme, personality development programme, guest lectures by various leading industrialists.
- To enrich the knowledge of the student community to help them derive competitive advantages in the Feisty computer world.
- To provide modern infrastructure facilities (like Wi-fi) to gather updated information at a click of mouse.
- To make students successful entrepreneurs, and Fashionable Business Leaders through a unique strategy of Innovation, Differentiation, thereby radically contributing and fulfilling the expectation of the organizations and the whole society.
- To create a favourable world-class research centre to contribute for the benefit of the society.
FACILITIES:
The Department has separate building with good infrastructure facilities, which include sophisticated class rooms, separate seminar hall, group discussion hall, rest rooms, individual staff cabin, Library, and Computer Laboratory. In each classroom there are LCD, Computer, and Projectors for effective delivery of lectures. In the staff cabin there are computers with internet connection that help the staff members to gather updated information in their own specialised areas.
DEPARTMENT LIBRARY
Apart from the Central Library of the College, the Department has its own Library where frequently referred texts, magazines, journals and news papers are kept for the ready reference of the students and the faculty.

Business Application Software Laboratory
This Laboratory has 60 terminals of latest HP computers. It has various accounting, operations research, statistical and database management packages. Latest Business Application software packages like ORACLE, TALLY, POM, TORA, and SPSS have been installed and are constantly being upgraded. Internet facilities are also made available in this laboratory. This enables the students and faculty to collect and use learning and teaching resources. Availability of latest software packages in the area of research helps the students to carry out their project work using advanced statistical tools for drawing inference effectively.
